Van Ministry
Many children, adults, and families are brought to church each week through the van ministry. For some, the love of Christ that they receive through the van ministry is the highlight of their week. This ministry is staffed by volunteer church members who love people. To be a part, or to help get someone a ride to church, call us today!
Visitation
This is a time for us to go out into the community, invite people to the church, and give out the simple plan of salvation. Our men meet Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. and our ladies meet Thursday at 12:00 p.m. Through this ministry, we have seen many people reached with the Gospel.
Tri-City Union Gospel Mission
On the first Tuesday of each month, a group of dedicated volunteers from Chinook Baptist Church conducts a service at the Tri-City Gospel Mission. This ministry to the poor and homeless of our community is much needed. These people need to know that even in the hard times, God loves them and He wants to help them. Please pray for this very important ministry!
Kennewick Life Care
A group of people too oft forgotten, the elderly of Kennewick Life Care need to hear the Gospel of Christ. Every other week a group of our volunteers conducts a service in the main day room while others sing hymns in the Alzheimer's unit. This is a special time of encouragement for these precious people.
Prison Ministries
Each week services are held at the Kennewick Juvenile Justice Center, Walla Walla Juvenile Justice Center and Benton County Jail. Through these ministries, many prisoners have trusted Christ as their Savior, received assurance of salvation, and grown closer to the Lord. They are taught to seek the Lord's will and to have a daily walk with Him. We praise the Lord that many lives have been changed through this much needed ministry.
